A gentle rebellion against the December rush.
Slow + Sacred invites women to move through winter as nature intended—softly, intentionally, and cyclically. It’s a 21-day ritual series with crafts, journal prompts, recipes & activities that are guiding you home to your body’s rhythm, mirroring the quiet wisdom of the winter solstice. A refuge for those weary of capitalism’s constant motion, this offering nourishes nervous systems and honors the descent into darkness as sacred, regenerative, and full of quiet beauty.
In collaboration with Wild Rhythms, it becomes not just a ritual series, but a communal remembering: of how to rest, complete, and listen to the earth’s pace again.
Born from Marisa’s own exhaustion with December’s chaos, Slow & Sacred, began as a course 5 years ago. It was a soft protest against the productivity culture that leaves us burnt out by year’s end. What started as a personal antidote became a shared ritual, a yearly gathering of souls reclaiming slowness, warmth, and meaning during the darkest time of the year. Meg was one of these soul’s who came to love and look forward to the ritual of Slow + Sacred that Marisa offered every December. It rooted her back into what matters and how she wanted her Decembers to feel.
Now, through Wild Rhythms, this tradition expands—rooted in the same seasonal wisdom but woven with nature-based rituals, herbal medicine support, and regenerative practices that echo the earth’s cycles, Meg & Marisa turn December into a magical time to savor.

We were never taught how to live with winter — to soften our pace as the light fades or honor what our bodies need when the world grows quiet. Modern life keeps us switched on with bright lights, full calendars, and constant productivity, even as something inside us quietly longs for a different rhythm.
But winter offers its own intelligence — the medicine of winter: rest, restoration, and a gentle return to ourselves. Nature knows how to do this instinctively. Trees conserve energy. Animals curl into warmth. The earth slows so it can rise strong again in spring.
Meanwhile, we push through December as if nothing has changed. But something has changed. And our bodies feel it. Winter isn’t a season to power through — it’s a season to exhale. To make things softer, slower, cozier. To rebuild the energy we’ve spent all year giving away.
Slow & Sacred is an invitation to honor that shift. To tend to your nervous system, restore your energy, and create the grounded foundation you want to carry into a new year. When you honor winter, you don’t fall behind — you root deeper.
On December 1st, we begin the 21 days leading up to the winter solstice — the descent into darkness before the light slowly returns. There is so much sacredness in that in-between space: the pause, the reflection, the quiet becoming.
And we want to invite you into that space with us — a winter cocoon to slow down, listen inward, and let this season soften you back into yourself.

Wild Rhythms was born from two friends who kept finding our way back to the same truths: we feel better when we honor the seasons, when we slow down enough to hear ourselves, and when we root into rituals that bring us back home. After years of navigating burnout, rebirth, and the messy middle of becoming, we chose to create a space where slowness is strength, where nervous system care is foundational, and where living in rhythm with nature and our inner voices becomes a way of remembering ourselves. What we teach is what we practice — gentle, seasonal, embodied living. And we’re so grateful to welcome you into it.

Frequently Asked Questions
The practices are intentionally simple and accessible. Most emails and rituals take 10-15 minutes, with optional deeper practices for when you have more spaciousness.
No — you won’t need anything fancy. Some of the optional rituals use simple ingredients (like citrus, herbs, or pantry staples), and you may already have a few of them at home. If not, that’s totally okay. Everything we share can be adapted or swapped based on what’s available to you.
This isn’t meant to send you on errands or add more decisions to your plate. Think of it more like gentle invitations: use what you have, skip what you don’t, and trust that the ritual still works.
We’ll also include a calm, not-at-all-urgent “nice-to-have” list in your welcome email—purely for ease, not obligation. Nothing in Slow & Sacred is required or meant to create pressure. It’s all designed to feel simple, doable, and supportive in a season that already asks so much.
You can’t fall behind. Slow & Sacred is cyclical, not linear. You can move at your own pace, skip days, or return to the practices later. This is meant to be nourishing, not another “to-do.”
Slow & Sacred weaves together nature-based, seasonal, and ancestral rhythms. It is not tied to any religious framework. You can adapt the rituals to your personal beliefs or spiritual practice.
Absolutely. That’s exactly who this was created for. These practices are meant to bring grounding into the chaos — not require you to escape it.
No, you’ll receive daily emails delivered gently to your inbox.
You’re still right on time. When you join, the emails will begin as a gentle daily drip so you can move through the journey at your own pace — no urgency, no catching up required.
And if you’re finding this offering after the Solstice or once the holiday swirl has passed, it’s still such a beautiful time to be here. You’ll gain clarity on how December unfolded for you, insight into what felt nourishing (or not), and a clearer sense of how you want your future winters to feel.
This work is timeless.
Winter wisdom lands whenever you’re ready for it.
